Hello friends and loved ones. I am sitting here on this beautiful day and thinking about what a blast we had at our Holiday Hootenanny on 11/12. Thanks to everyone who came by and kicked off our holiday here with cheer and hilarity. We love you people.

Hello Bird Lovers of all ages! It may be 70 degrees out there today- but don't be fooled- the holidays are upon us!

We were thinking that we might throw a big crazy party to get the holiday time started with our favorite people- you people. It's our Final Sidewalk Sale of the Year!

This Friday and Saturday from 10am- dusk- and Sunday 11am-dusk Fly Bird will be making sales on the sidewalk. Check us out for 50% off of some really great gifts- and our super bargain $1 and $5 bins. You can catch us right around the corner over by Botanica on Oak Park Avenue- right in the middle of the block (west side of the street). Friday local businesses only will be out on the sidewalk- and Saturday & Sunday will bring out your favorite local shops and a bunch of local artists and entertainers to make your day a great one.

This is it- our last chance to make room for all of the wonderful new products that have been coming in for the holidays. Also- don't forget to check out the Annual Halloween Parade! On Saturday Oct. 31 the local business district will be lining people up at Oak Park Ave & Pleasant to kick off the 10am parade. Kids should come in costume for this fun event- and stick around for trick or treating on the avenue directly following the parade.

This LIVE event will take place over the course of 10 days with artists doing- what they do- right before our very eyes. It will be amazing. June 14th Vintage Auto Show on the Avenue. Come by the area of Oak park Ave & Lake St. to check out some fine old autos from the Illinois St. Andrew Society Scottish Motor Club. For more info about them go to chicago-scotts.org
July 24-26 Come by the shop for the yearly Summer Sidewalk Sale. We are starting to plan this super-savings event. It is going to be great- so pencil us in for that weekend.
